Account Executive

Position: Account Executive - Full time 

Base of Operations: Bogotá, Colombia (Quinta Camacho)

Position Reports to: Project Manager

WhereNext, a purpose-driven consultancy with offices in Bogotá, Seattle, and Mexico City, seeks a dynamic Account Executive to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. As the key liaison between clients and our internal team, you will play a crucial role in bridging client expectations with project execution. Your expertise in project management, digital marketing, and client relationship-building will ensure seamless communication, drive project success, and foster long-term client partnerships.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Media & Communication, Audiovisual Studies, Digital Marketing, Marketing Administration, or related fields.

  • Desirable, but not mandatory: Postgraduate studies in Project Management, Administrative Management, or related fields. Courses and/or similar experience in Project Management.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (excellent written and verbal communication skills).

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in companies and/or brands in the audiovisual or advertising sector (essential).

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience as an account executive.

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Experience in developing and following work schedules.

  • Experience in budget management and execution.

  • Experience in managing logistics for marketing and video projects.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with clients are essential.

  • Desirable experience working with government or international cooperation clients.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the anchor between clients and internal teams to ensure marketing campaigns align with client objectives.

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.

  • Find the balance between what a client requests and the company's productive capacity.

  • Communicate client requests and concerns to the internal work team.

  • Be attentive to each task and measure the general evolution of the project.

  • Discover new sales opportunities through networking to turn them into long-term partnerships.

  • Manage multiple projects at once without straining the creative team while focusing on creating an optimal client experience.

  • Present new products to current customers.

  • Manage the travel logistics of the various teams, including the management of hotels, flights, and expenses, with support from the administrative area.

  • Monitor the workload of team members to identify the moments in which it is necessary to generate additional hires to meet the deadlines expected by clients and deliver products with the usual quality standards.

  • Work with the administrative and financial teams to ensure that employees have the necessary equipment, such as computers, cameras, and hard drives, to perform their tasks optimally.
